About the role
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Hardware Developer to join our team at Halter. As a key member of our hardware development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions that meet the needs of our customers. Your passion for mechanical engineering and commitment to excellence will enable us to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Key responsibilities
  • Designing and developing robust mechanical components and assemblies for mass production.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development and implementation.
  • Maintaining accurate records of design iterations and testing results.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to less experienced engineers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on consumer/commercial electronics hardware.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and contributing to successful product launches.
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D CAD and 2D drafting software, including Solidworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
