Your Role

The Health and Safety Advisor position is a critical component of our organizational structure. As a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide guidance on health and safety matters, develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, and foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise on health and safety policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement initiatives that promote employee well-being
  • Foster a culture of open communication, transparency, and accountability within the organization

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field or similar role
  • Expertise in the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound professional judgment and decision-making ability
  • Clean full driver's license (required for travel between offices)
