Key Responsibilities

  • Work with whanau to identify and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges
  • Provide guidance and support to empower whanau to make positive decisions for themselves and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Lived or work experience in AOD within Maori and Pasifika Communities is essential
  • Experience working with Maori and Pasifika communities in the health and/or social services spaces
  • Deep understanding of Te Ao Maori and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Ability to communicate effectively with whanau and other healthcare professionals
