We are seeking a highly motivated AOD Practitioner to join our Te Whare Rauangi team. As an AOD Practitioner, you will be responsible for working directly with whanau to support and empower them on their journey to recovery, providing them with the tools, resources and guidance they need to overcome challenges and achieve their aspirations.

We are a kaupapa Maori organisation committed to delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate healthcare services to our community. Our team is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of whanau and helping them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with whanau to identify and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges
- Provide guidance and support to empower whanau to make positive decisions for themselves and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
- Lived or work experience in AOD within Maori and Pasifika Communities is essential
- Experience working with Maori and Pasifika communities in the health and/or social services spaces
- Deep understanding of Te Ao Maori and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Ability to communicate effectively with whanau and other healthcare professionals
