The Role
We are seeking a Care Professional to join our Auckland Community Mobile team. As a well-being coach, you will be managing your own caseload with the support of a Team Coach. Your goal will be to improve the well-being of adults who experience mental health and addiction challenges in their local communities.
Responsibilities
- Goal setting and building confidence
- Supporting people to take medication independently
- Supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills
- Attending appointments and advocating for people
- Assisting people to connect with their communities
Requirements
- Caring nature and work in a recovery and strengths-focused way
- Current full driver's licence
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
- New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or equivalent
- Support Worker experience or similar
