We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinical Governance Specialist to join our team in the Central Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality and patient safety strategies to drive improved patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain expertise in clinical governance, risk management, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles to inform decision-making.
About You

You are a seasoned leader with a strong background in clinical governance and quality principles. Your ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions is complemented by your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Relevant health qualification and clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in quality and patient safety.
  • Knowledge of New Zealand Health Legislation and risk management principles.
  • Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
