Incident Response Engineer

About the Position
We're seeking an Incident Response Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering world-class cybersecurity capabilities. As an Incident Response Engineer, you will be responsible for leading cybersecurity incident response and investigation efforts, improving threat detection capability, and enhancing security monitoring and response capabilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- You will respond to operational queue work as part of a follow-the-sun model.
- You will lead cybersecurity incident response and investigation efforts, including digital forensics and cloud security events.
- You will improve threat detection capability through gap analyses and remediation.
- You will identify areas for additional controls, tooling, and automation to enhance security monitoring and response capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a security engineer/analyst in related domains.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications and training (e.g. Offensive Security, SANS, CISSP, Specific Security Tooling, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Python, Ruby, and other scripting languages, along with a strong understanding of Linux/OSX and Windows.
