About the Project

The project aims to create interactive and engaging virtual field trips that cater to diverse audiences, ranging from students to the general public. You will work closely with researchers, educators, and digital media professionals to refine these experiences and ensure they meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop workflows for interactive virtual field trip development.
  • Capture and curate high-quality image, audio, and video resources for virtual field trips.
  • Design and publish novel Earth Science virtual field trips for online platforms.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure educational content is accurate, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in Earth Science, Environmental Science, or a related field (undergraduate degree or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interest in digital tools, virtual environments, and educational technology.
  • Experience with image, audio, and video content creation or editing.
  • Familiarity with interactive media design and web publishing is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Working Arrangements

This is a fixed-term, part-time position until December 2025. You will be working approximately 12 hours per week. We offer flexible employment practices, including working from home and flexible hours, to support your work-life balance.
