About This Role

As a Clinical Development Manager for Smith & Nephew, you will be responsible for providing clinical support and training activities for products and services in the clinical environment. Your primary goal is to ensure business objectives are met by aligning your efforts with sales and marketing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the medical field or theatre setting, as well as knowledge of wound care or related clinical disciplines. A tertiary qualification in Nursing or Science-related fields is essential, along with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding clinical support to customers on AWM organization products, maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Support S&N AWM in the territory on a range of products as needed.
  • Handle the clinical training and in-servicing schedule in alignment with the sales strategy.
  • Ensure operating efficiencies by assisting with the management of S&N devices within accounts.
  • Support the maintenance and development of customer profiles and preferences.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver in-service programs, workshops, and seminars to customers.
  • Maintain dedication to educational support to drive sales opportunities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with competitor products and competitor activity.

What You Will Need to Succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Science-related fields.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proven experience in the medical field or theatre setting.
  • Proven experience in wound care or related clinical disciplines.
