About This Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Digital Literacy Specialist to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (18.75 hours per week). Based in Rotorua, you will be responsible for promoting digital literacy, developing training programs, and enhancing library services throughout our region.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs to promote digital literacy and inclusion;
- Enhance library services through digital platforms and tailored workshops;
- Conduct research to identify emerging trends and technologies in digital literacy.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Library and Information Science or a related field;
- A Certificate in Adult Teaching;
- A full NZ Driver's License (Class 1);
- At least 2+ years of experience in library services or digital literacy;
- Experience using electronic databases;
- Experience in training or teaching groups and individuals.
