Auckland City Hospital is committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and providing culturally safe care. Our Pharmacy department is an innovative and exciting place to work, employing over 100 staff including those working within two retail pharmacies and a flagship inpatient service.
The Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to join New Zealand's leading oncology and haematology specialists and research nurses, providing clinical pharmacy expertise to complex oncology and haematology outpatients. You will contribute to the development of protocols, prescriptions, and guidelines, and educate and train pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Your Skills and Experience
You must have a keen interest in haematology/oncology and be passionate about putting patients at the centre of everything you do. You should have experience in reviewing chemotherapy prescriptions and liaising with specialist clinicians to ensure safe and cost-effective delivery. Postgraduate clinical qualifications and haematology and/or oncology experience are desirable.
