CGR Services supports individuals and families across various ages, abilities, and backgrounds, providing person-centered care and support services that cater to their unique needs and goals. We are currently seeking Support Workers to join our Community Services team in South Dunedin, who share our passion for delivering exceptional care and support. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and aspirations, while also contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with daily tasks, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans, working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Providing education and support on healthy living, wellness, and disease prevention strategies.
  • Managing medication, personal care, and home maintenance tasks for clients.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rates between $23.50 and $29.10, including travel allowance and work phone.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for helping others and achieving excellence in all aspects of your work.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective collaboration and client engagement.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
  • A full NZ driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
