Our aim is to support people to live as independently as possible, for as long as possible and to maintain their independence regardless of age, injury, illness or disability.Are you looking to make a real difference in your community?We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Workers across our different services including Community and Rehabilitation, and Social Services.
Whether you are looking for flexibility around other commitments or would prefer regular rostered shifts, we have a variety of permanent full-time and part-time options on offer.We are looking for a Community Support Worker who can work Monday to Friday and alternate Weekends between 7am to 8pm.
They must be willing to travel 30-40 minute radius of South Dunedin, including Waverly, Harrington point, Otakau region.What does a Support Worker do?As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community.
You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.Responsibilities can be varied and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all of the below:Meal preparationCommunity outings and integrationGiving medicationPersonal cares (showering, toileting etc)Home managementWhat's in it for you?We are committed to our employees and are proud to employ and train the best people in all areas of our organisation.
