Professional Standards Adviser Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Medical Council of New Zealand's Professional Standards team as a Professional Standards Adviser. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the medical profession meets the necessary standards to protect the public.

About the Team
You will be part of a high-performing and collaborative team that works together to achieve the Council's goals. As a case manager, you will be responsible for a varied and interesting workload covering conduct and competence notifications relating to doctors that are referred to the Council.

Your Key Responsibilities
Identify improvements for the team and contribute to the Council's ongoing efforts to improve its processes and procedures. Ensure doctors are fit to practise by working closely with the team to resolve any issues that arise.

What You Will Need
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent business writing and communication skills, previous case management experience, strong verbal and presentation skills, excellent relationship management skills, and the maturity to handle sensitive subject matter.
