This Corporate Financial Leader role is a diverse opportunity where you will focus on mentoring and guiding your team while maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting system. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial results and supporting Council Controlled Organisations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate financial accounting functions and experience in a senior finance position within a large complex organisation. A tertiary degree with a major in Accounting or Finance is also required, along with membership of CAANZ (or equivalent).
You will work closely with our Manager to deliver high-quality financial results and manage the delivery of our annual report. This role also involves developing training programs for our accounting staff and ensuring the effective use of computer-based accounting applications and financial management systems.
As a key member of our finance team, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the community and make a positive impact on the lives of residents and visitors. We offer a range of benefits for Council staff, including access to training programmes, flexible working arrangements, and collaboration opportunities.
