Job Summary
The Raukawa Charitable Trust is seeking a highly skilled Kaupapa Maori Researcher to join our Tiwai Hauora Research and Evaluation Team. As a key member of the team, you will support research and evaluation activities to enhance health and social service outcomes within the Raukawa rohe.

About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for someone with experience in Health and Social Service research and evaluation, and a passion for Kaupapa Maori. You will work closely with the Principal Advisor Research and Evaluation to undertake projects that assess current contract deliverables and outcomes, and undertake feasibility analysis for potential contracts.

Your Responsibilities
As a Kaupapa Maori Researcher, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting research and evaluation activities to enhance health and social service outcomes
  • Working closely with the Principal Advisor Research and Evaluation to undertake projects
  • Undertaking feasibility analysis for potential contracts
  • Assessing current contract deliverables and outcomes

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of Kaupapa Maori methodology and principles
  • Experience working in the Health and Social Services sector
  • Cultural competency and knowledge of Te Reo Maori
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
