About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Regional Trainer to join our team. As a Regional Trainer, you will be responsible for facilitating and overseeing all Support Worker training in accordance with Access Kaiawhina Competency training and qualifications in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, support and oversee all Support Worker training in accordance with Access Kaiawhina Competency training and qualifications in the region.
  • Ensure that essential skills with our paid induction program and hands-on buddying are fit for our community support environment.
  • Work alongside line managers, in particular Care Coordinator Team Leaders and Support Worker Team Leaders to ensure a competent workforce.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold teaching experience and qualifications in adult learning, nursing, allied health, or teaching.
  • Experience in the health sector is desirable.
  • Hold a registered assessor qualification and be an approved Careerforce Assessor or have the ability to obtain this.
  • Hold or be prepared to undertake further study towards the Certificate in Adult Teaching.
  • Provide evidence of experience in standards-based assessment.
