As a Facilitator, you will provide training and ongoing professional learning and development support for principals/tumuaki, teachers/kaiako, and schools/kura in PB4L (Positive Behaviour for Learning) Restorative Practice.

This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE, 30 hours per week) in the Taranaki/Manawatū/Wanganui region. This role will require flexibility, as regular travel across your designated region will be necessary.

This will be a fixed-term position due to contract funding. This offers a salary range of $90,309 - $98,000 per year (pro-rata), dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?

To be successful in the role, you must have a relevant qualification, preferably at the postgraduate level, with a current New Zealand teacher registration and practising certificate. You should demonstrate in-depth understanding, knowledge and experience of restorative practice, proven success as a professional development facilitator, experience in school leadership, and knowledge of across-the-board NZC/TMoA/Te Whāriki curriculum implementation to foster successful learning.

You must be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) and historical insights into schooling in New Zealand, including the role and influence of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi, school policies, resources, and challenges as they relate to system improvement for Māori.
