**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join our Auckland team as a key player in driving sales and growth for our Life Safety and Rescue division.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, account management, and business development, with a strong understanding of Life Safety Products and related solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align supplier relationships with targeted verticals and onboard new suppliers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring timely responses to client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Your Key Deliverables:

  1. Drive new customer growth acquisition targets through business development activities.
  2. Maintain customer retention, increased share of wallet, revenue and profitability, and Customer Satisfaction through managing Customer Relationships of existing Johnson Controls accounts.
  3. Maximise self-generated marketing leads, cross-sell and upsell customers with the full suite of LSR products.
  4. Develop and present major bid opportunities e.g. tenders.
  5. Present quotes to a high standard, adhering to JCI company standards regarding DOA process, layout, and content of presentations.
  6. Ensure all new development and market opportunities are maximised and pursued.
  7. Use company ERP and CRMS systems including but not limited to, Pronto, Salesforce.com, SimPRO.
  8. Participate in the One Team, One JCI approach, by actively working with and promoting Johnson Controls entire portfolio.
  9. Maintain the highest ethical, technical, and business standards in all activities.
  10. Follow all company policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales and/or account management.
  • Good understanding of Life Safety Products and related solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong work ethics and capacity to quickly grasp technical concepts.
