**About Our Team**
We are part of the Hamilton City Council, responsible for animal education and control. Our goal is to create well-educated dog owners and work towards safer communities.
As a team member, you will play a key role in administering the Dog Control Act 1996 and its amendments. You will also be involved in making policy and bylaws on dog control, as well as providing local dog control services including dog registration, education about dog ownership, and safety around dogs.
We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in animal handling to join our team. If you have good communication and interpersonal skills, and enjoy a varied and busy workload, we encourage you to apply.
