We're searching for a passionate and experienced companion veterinarian who aspires to be the sole charge veterinarian within our unique and exciting community-focused veterinary clinic.
We'd love a full-time commitment but we're open to a part-time role too for the right person.You will oversee our small animal practice, immersing yourself in the day-to-day clinical caseload and client interactions.

You'll have the backing of an experienced and highly capable veterinary nurse and a clinic coordinator.Develop our people and companion animal business and find new possibilities for delivering value to our customers.Lead the daily operations of the clinic and be actively involved in decision making and planning for the business.Provide exceptional veterinary care to our furry patients, ensuring their well-being and quality of life.Build strong relationships with clients, offering guidance and support in their animals' health journey.Collaborate with a skilled and compassionate team to deliver the highest standards of care.Pursue continuing education and stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.Contribute to a positive and collaborative workplace culture where every team member thrives.Grow your current skillset by learning from industry leaders.Work with a nursing and support team who take the standard of care to the next levelEnjoy the benefits of a true Monday to Friday job with no weekends or after-hours required.What You'll Bring:New Zealand Veterinary Council Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (or equivalency enabling registration).A Bachelor of Veterinary Science with 3+ years of experience in Companion Animal Practice.A proven clinical skill set including surgery and consulting.Experience handling difficult or complex cases with professionalism and expertise.A warm, approachable personality that makes both customers and colleagues feel valued and supported.Exceptional communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with your team and clarity for pet parents.A strong sense of compassion and empathy, treating every patient as if they were your own.A team-first mindset, thriving in a collaborative environment where everyone supports each other.Curiosity and a growth mindset, eager to embrace new skills and advancements in veterinary care.Reliability and professionalism, ensuring your work is consistent, accurate, and of the highest standard.A true commitment to delivering outstanding care that strengthens the bond between pets and their people.Why Join Us?Need someone to talk to?
