Job Description

This role is designed for individuals with technical or administrative backgrounds who can bring fresh perspectives to our team.

As a Technical Operations Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our engineering teams, ensuring smooth project execution, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making item requirements on vessel 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.
  • Coordinating updates across projects (e.g. If changing supplier, a new design is released through ECP etc.)
  • Preparing class letters, collecting documentation, and submitting it to class approval for pressure vessels (Boilers, TFO, steam drums etc.)
  • Following up on approval processes and schedules with class societies
  • Supporting project planning and arranging integration of new ways of working with functional leaders
  • Communicating internally with relevant stakeholders and collaborating between departments
  • Assisting engineers in creating new supporting tools, work descriptions, etc.
  • Providing support on task planning (keeping structure) and assisting project engineers with various tasks
  • Coordinating collaboration tasks between engineers and factory staff
  • Completing ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Technical or administrative backgrounds
  • Experience in using ERP systems (preferably Axapta)
  • Good general IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Initiative and proactive approach
  • Active, systematic, and structured work style
  • Flexibility and positive attitude towards changes
