About the Role

We are seeking a Tauira Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tauira support team, you will provide outreach service to our tauira to support them in achieving learning success. This is a permanent, part-time role (no more than 20 hours per week) with rostered work hours between 8:30am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outreach service to our tauira to support them in achieving learning success
  • Identify and contact early withdrawals and no shows for programmes
  • Respond to incoming calls, messages, and emails promptly and professionally
  • Coordinate the speedy resolution of tauira (student) issues

About You

We are looking for an experienced individual with proven communication skills, ability to apply initiative and common sense in a variety of situations, and experience in dealing with a variety of callers including supporting distressed tauira. Your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Ahuatanga Maori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
