Clinical Mental Health Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Integrated Mental Health and Addiction Services team. This is a permanent full-time role that offers the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings and support ongoing professional development.
The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of best-practice psychological theories and treatment approaches, with experience working with adults experiencing moderate to severe mental health and addiction difficulties. They will be able to provide comprehensive assessments and risk management plans, formulate and articulate treatment needs and plans, and coordinate care for clients and their families.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions to promote client well-being
- Liaise with other health providers, NGOs, PHOs, social and government agencies to facilitate care and treatments for service users
- Contribute to the development and function of the team through case consultation, staff training and supervision, leadership, and involvement in service development activities
**Requirements:**
- Masters degree in Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification
- Registration with NZ Psychologist Board, with Clinical Psychology Vocational Scope of Practice
- Experience working in mental health pathways and/or forensic services
- Current annual practising certificate
- Full driver's licence
