About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our community-based team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with experienced professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, formulations, and interventions for individuals experiencing mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client
- Liaise with whanau, primary care providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Initiate and develop group-based interventions to support clients' recovery journeys
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, formulations, and interventions for individuals experiencing mental health issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- New Zealand registration as an Allied Health Professional with Annual Practicing Certificate
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mental health setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
