Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our Managing Director in a fast-paced workshop and office environment. The role involves providing effective and efficient support, including prioritisation of work, diary management, communication, and accurate documentation production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Managing Director, maintaining the effective running of duties in their absence.
  • Manage the Director's work diary, prioritising and managing time effectively and preparing for meetings.
  • Manage correspondence, ensuring responses are given in a timely manner.
  • Manage travel arrangements and itineraries.
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with other staff members.
  • Act as a point of contact for customers and subcontractors.
  • Provide support and advice to Company Directors, undertaking tasks as required.
  • Attend specific meetings, take notes, draft minutes, and action tasks where required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of providing a PA service at Director level.
  • Diary and correspondence management.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work confidently at a senior level, with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to make sound judgments about competing priorities and identifying resources accordingly.

Desirable Experience and Skills

  • Experience of or interest in the Classic Car, motorsport, or other related industry.
  • Experience of Dragon2000 dealer management system.
