About the role

Job Description
  • We are seeking a Supervising Customs Officer to join our team in Auckland.
  • You will be responsible for building the capability of your team through supporting and facilitating positive performance outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrable leadership skills and experience in coaching and mentoring others.
  • You will also be assisting with the overall direction and leadership of the Detector Dog unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading people is challenging, yet rewarding.
  • You will need to obtain a Confidential national security clearance.
  • To achieve a Confidential clearance, you must be a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident who has resided in New Zealand continuously for the last 10 years.
