This role offers the opportunity to develop your nursing leadership and influence, while working in a dynamic environment that values innovation and creativity.

You will have autonomy to collaborate with patients and whānau to make the best decisions regarding care and treatment, in the context for Māori.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • senior nursing background with at least 4 years' experience in palliative care or similar
  • keenness and desire to work at the top of your scope
  • ability to demonstrate clinical, professional and cultural leadership
  • preparedness to grow the role and bring a solid Māori cultural lens to this work
  • interest and enthusiasm for continuous quality improvement
  • ability to demonstrate evidenced based practice
