Our School of Nursing is seeking a highly motivated registered nurse who is passionate about the advancement of Māori nursing practice, is committed to the improvement of Māori health disparities, and addressing Hauora Māori. The successful candidate will come with a strong clinical background in nursing, preferably with nursing education experience, a current practising certificate and a Master's degree.

This role offers the opportunity to:
- Support teaching and learning: Lead and develop innovative nursing education programmes.
- Drive programme development: Support continuous improvement, influence programme teams, and ensure accountability for results.
- Collaborate and mentor: Work with diverse teams to create and implement culturally responsive and industry-relevant curricula.
- Contribute to Māori health: Advance Hauora Māori through impactful education and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of strategically aligned nursing programmes and curricula across all faculties.
- Establish and manage programme development timelines, ensuring delivery of innovative and robust academic content that meets industry needs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to programme teams on academic standards and strategic alignment.
- Collaborate with faculty leaders and the Academic Director to prioritise course and programme development.
- Promote a culture of critical analysis, continuous improvement, and accountability within programme development.
- Deliver informative reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
