Job Description
The Account Manager will be responsible for the strategic growth, account management, and retention of a portfolio of major corporate travel accounts for the Hertz brand. This role requires developing long-term partnerships, maximising sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service to existing clients.
Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate travel management companies to sustain existing accounts and identify new business opportunities
  2. Preparing rate strategies and presenting contract proposals to strategically obtain the best outcome for the business while balancing customer needs
  3. Analysing and collating data on customer patterns and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities and predict future trends

Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a field sales function, account management, or working with a travel management company (TMC) or in the travel industry, government, or managing corporate customers in an operational/logistics environment
  • A proven track record in exceeding KPIs and building strong relationships with customers
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced and changing business environment

Working Arrangements
This role is based in our Auckland Office, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with the Sales Support team, Operations, and other departments at all levels within the business.
