Nuvia UK's Technical Services & Consulting department is seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects, managing multidisciplinary design elements and providing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design process for complex structures, ensuring designer technical performance and making appropriate technical responses.
  • Provide subject matter expert advice and technical design guidance to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Evaluate design packages and ensure compliance with quality management arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, applying configuration and quality controls as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably chartered.
  • Experience in seismic structural design, new or refurbished dock structures, and major new buildings.
  • Ability to plan and manage projects effectively, identifying key factors and contributing to technical planning processes.
