This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a world-class wildlife sanctuary and make a significant impact on the conservation of native species. As a Chief Executive, you will be responsible for giving life to the purpose of the Trust, leading the achievement of Orana's future-focused strategies, and managing key and critical stakeholder relationships.

The role requires a proven track record of successful transformational leadership, strong commercial leadership skills, energy and drive. You will also need to have a deep understanding of the principles of animal welfare and conservation, along with a proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and success.

  • Lead the achievement of all regulatory, risk management and compliance requirements, including requirements from Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) and Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA).
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive business growth and success, while maintaining a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
