Transportation Infrastructure Project Director

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team in Wellington, New Zealand.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced project manager to lead and support the delivery of various capital transport projects. As a key member of our Infrastructure Delivery team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
You will have experience in project management, including programme, financial, and risk management activities. Your innovative and collaborative approach to project delivery will be essential in driving results-oriented projects that meet our goals and objectives.
A strong understanding of technical design, delivery, and contract/construction experience is necessary. Additionally, your ability to manage contracts with suppliers and maintain relationships with industry partners will be vital to achieving optimal results.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Collaborate with suppliers, stakeholders, and partners to deliver high-quality projects.
- Develop and implement effective project plans, taking into account programme, financial, and risk management requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to the team and stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the transportation infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.
- A competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
