With the ongoing success and strong project demand this leading contractor is looking to hire a Construction Manager/Project Director to oversee and lead the Christchurch business.RoleThis is a senior management role, working in partnership with the greater national management team reporting into the Managing Director.The responsibilities of the role will include:Overseeing all on-site construction activities and performance of on-site deliveryEnsure efficient programming, safety, environmental and quality performance for all projectsTendering submitted to high standards and on timeBusiness Development, maintain client relationships and develop new opportunitiesOversee P/L, maintain strong profitability and business growth per budgetsMentor, train and empower your teamRequirementsAs a Construction Manager/Project Director you will have the following experience:Past experience working as either a Construction Manager, Project Director or Project Manager within a main contractor capacityEstablished networks of clients, subcontractors, and consultants across the Queenstown and Southern Lakes districtHigh level of communication skills, proven collaborative ability with demonstrated skills in leading negotiations with multiple stakeholdersProven track record in Project Management overseeing projects throughout the complete project life cycleStrong knowledge of NZ Building Standards and the tendering processBenefits:Competitive salary and shareholding on offer for the Christchurch businessJoin an established leadership team, diverse range of experienceExcellent and exciting brand with existing clients and relationships in ChristchurchStrong pipeline of future work, work directly with the Managing DirectorAbility to oversee and run the business your way with the support of the greater businessShould you meet the above criteria and be interested in a confidential conversation please email ******
