About the Role

We are looking for someone to support our Communication Centres by providing expert advice and guidance on targeted reporting. This role involves working closely with the team to ensure we are achieving our goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will have a background in workforce management or real-time analyst positions, and experience working in either the Emergency or Non-Emergency Centres would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support, expert advice, and guidance with targeted reporting to our Communication Centres.
  • Be involved in daily Planning and Logistics.
  • Have ownership of time critical tasks.
  • Assist with research and analysis to support NZ Police Communication Centre strategic planning and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
  • Familiarity with the Aspect rostering system would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
  • Continuous Improvement – Able to show creative and diverse thinking and show initiative.
