The Role
KOMI Group is looking for a Data Analyst to work on a variety of exciting data projects in the social media market. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a key role in delivering value to the business by helping us leverage data effectively.
As a Data Analyst, you will support project delivery, assist in managing external stakeholder relationships, and perform high-quality technical work. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL and cloud data warehousing, with strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Work: Develop and maintain data models and ELT pipelines, write SQL queries, maintain the cloud data warehouse infrastructure and improve the performance and efficiency of the data stack.
- Project Support: Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Requirements Gathering: Contribute to the creation of data dictionary documents to define and clarify the scope of work.
- Data Architecture Support: Assist in creating and maintaining common data models and data lineage documents.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the review and improvement of project processes and procedures.
- Business Development Support: Assist in the development of the data infrastructure, providing technical input.
- Commercial Awareness: Understand and contribute to the efficient use of time on priority work items.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Support the building and maintaining of strong relationships with external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and regular updates.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic data professional with a strong foundation in data analytics and a desire to grow their skills. You should be passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders. We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 2 years of experience in a data-related role, with some exposure to ELT tools and data modelling techniques.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data cloud tech like Snowflake.
- Knowledge of ELT tools like Kleene or Fivetran.
- Experience with visualisation tools such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau, PowerBI or Looker.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced scale-up business environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A desire to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
