About the Role
We have an upcoming vacancy for a part-time Consultant General Paediatrician to carry out general paediatric duties in Rotorua and Taupo. Our stable experienced team would be happy to consider applications from newly qualified specialists seeking a supportive environment to commence their consultant career.
The successful candidate will provide services in our two modern and progressive general hospitals, participate in a 1:8 acute call roster, and enjoy excellent support from specialty teams. There are well-established links with tertiary centres for support.
Our Department
Our paediatric department consists of ten specialists, three registrars, and dedicated paediatric SHO support. We're accredited by RACP for registrar training and provide attachments/teaching for 5th and 6th year medical students from the University of Auckland Medical School.
