Job Description

The role of the Programme Delivery Director is to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional initiatives designed to enhance service delivery and meet strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader with a track record in programme delivery to help shape and improve the services provided to the community.

About the Role

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-profile programmes.
  • Work with Programme and Project Managers (PMO) to ensure effective coordination and successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including elected members, senior management, community groups, contractors, and others.
  • Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, providing support to ensure the delivery of key targets.
  • Identify risks and proactively manage issues.

About You

  • You will bring a deep understanding of programme management methodologies like PRINCE2, Agile, and PMBOK.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large resources, along with a solid grasp of financial management principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
