Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Programme Facilitator to join our team in Christchurch. The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and delivering adventure, recreation, social, life, and horticulture-based work-skills programmes for groups of young people with intellectual disabilities.
About Us:
Récénce is a youth-based organisation focused on delivering experiential learning programmes for young people with intellectual disabilities and neurodiversity. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment that fosters personal growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver programmes that cater to the needs of young people with intellectual disabilities
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that promotes personal growth and development
- Collaborate with the team to ensure programme delivery meets the organisation's standards
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications such as a Sport and Recreation or Recreation Therapy Degree, Psychology/Health or Social Science degrees (desirable)
- Demonstrated youth leadership and volunteer management skills
- Demonstrated experience working with youth with intellectual disabilities
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering programmes for groups of young people with intellectual disabilities
