You'll be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional initiatives designed to enhance our service delivery and meet the Council's strategic goals.This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader with a track record in programme delivery to help shape and improve the services we provide to the community.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-profile programmes.
Work with Programme and Project Managers (PMO) to ensure effective coordination and successful project delivery.Build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including elected members, senior management, community groups, contractors, and others.Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, providing support to ensure the delivery of key targets.Identify risks and proactively manage issues.
Oversee programme finances, ensuring delivery within budget.Champion best practices and drive the continuous enhancement of programme management processes within the Council.About you:With over 8 years of experience in programme and project management, including a proven track record of successfully leading complex initiatives, you'll bring a deep understanding of programme management methodologies like PRINCE2, Agile, and PMBOK.
