Cardiology Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Cardiac Specialist to join our team at Christchurch Hospital and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions.

About the Role:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to inpatients and outpatients within the field of general cardiology.
  • Possess expert knowledge and skills in delivering specialized care across a diverse range of cardiology cases.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance clinical practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a specialist in cardiology.
  • Postgraduate qualification in cardiology or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cardiology, including diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of $220,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • A fixed-term contract for 12 months, commencing on February 29, 2025.
