Company OverviewWe are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland, a leading public healthcare provider in New Zealand. Our organization comprises four specialist teaching hospitals: Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, National Women's Health, and Starship Children's Health.
We provide health and disability services to over half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior medical officer to join our gastroenterology department as a consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and evidence-based care. Your expertise in general internal medicine and gastroenterology will enable you to function autonomously as a consultant in a teaching hospital setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications- FRACP or equivalent qualification
- Vocational registration in New Zealand
- Specialist accreditation in endoscopy recognized by the NZ Gastroenterology Society
- Trained in General Internal Medicine
