Salary: $220,000 - $320,000 per annum

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Medical Oncologist to join our team at the Auckland City Hospital, the largest teaching hospital in New Zealand. As a specialist in medical oncology, you will play a critical role in providing patient-centered care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Oncologist to join our department, which provides comprehensive cancer services to patients from Northland and the greater Auckland region. Your primary responsibility will be to provide clinical expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various cancers, including neuro and sarcoma tumours.

You will work closely with our team of experienced clinicians, researchers, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care, while also contributing to the development of new treatments and therapies through research and collaboration with our academic partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A FRACP qualification or equivalent, specialising in Medical Oncology">
  • Eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council">
  • A higher degree (MD, PhD) desirable">
