Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate and relevant allowances, as well as opportunities for ongoing development and training. Our salary structure reflects the level of experience and qualifications required for the role. You will also have access to one hour per month of paid professional supervision, which will help you to continue growing and developing in your career.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse at Harbour Hospice, you will play a critical role in our multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include providing symptom and pain management, respite and end-of-life care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. You will work collaboratively with patients, whanau, and other healthcare professionals to deliver care that is tailored to the individual needs of each person.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must be a Registered Nurse with a strong background in nursing practice, holding a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate. You should have a minimum of 2 years post-registration experience and be keen to continue your career in specialist palliative care. Previous experience working in a hospice or palliative care ward is preferred, but not essential. We will also consider applications from nurses with hospital experience in similar specialties such as oncology or haematology.
