The Clinical Wellbeing Specialist, Waiariki Mana Ake Programme role presents an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of tamariki and their whanau. This position will be responsible for delivering early intervention health and wellbeing guidance, support, and service within primary and intermediate schools and Kaupapa Maori Kura. The Clinical Wellbeing Specialist will work collaboratively with education providers to deliver evidence-informed individual, group, and whole-class wellbeing programmes/interventions for tamariki.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions. This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way. You should also possess phenomenal relationship skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Fluency in Te Reo is required if your preference is to work with Kaupapa Maori Kura.
Your Skills and Qualifications
You are an experienced Health professional with current registration in Nursing, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related field. You are well-experienced in working with community, tamariki, and whanau. Your ability to pivot within a rapidly changing environment is essential.
