About the Role

The Wayfinder Mana Ake Programme in Schools is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of tamariki and whanau. As a Community Health Navigator, you will be responsible for delivering early intervention health and wellbeing guidance, support, and services within Primary and Intermediate Schools.

Working closely with the clinical team, you will provide individual and group-based interventions and whole-of-classroom programmes in kura and schools. This role requires strong relationships with local communities, particularly in the Waiariki region, where you will form part of a culturally responsive workforce focused on building whakawhanaungatanga and relationships.

About You

We are looking for an experienced professional who has established networks and relationships with local communities and enjoys working with a wide range of people. You will have experience working within health, education, or social service collaborative initiatives and have a commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
