This part-time position offers a competitive salary range between $62,400 and $77,800 per year, pro-rated based on skills and experience.

Job Description

As a Research Operations Coordinator, you will support the operational facilitation of a Centre of Research Excellence, Te Punaha Matatini. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and providing executive support to the Directors, Research Operations Manager, and researchers. You will also act as a conduit between the research centre and other stakeholders within the University and externally, ensuring efficient management of centre processes and activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience working in a research environment or relevant work experience in a tertiary research environment
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and engagement skills
  • Ability to coordinate complex stakeholder relationships
  • Proactive with initiative and self-management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience organizing and coordinating events
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively in diverse situations
