We are currently recruiting for an Oral and Maxillofacial Non-Training Registrar (NTR) based at Waitemata District Health Board. You will be working alongside senior clinicians and trainee registrars to facilitate the management of inpatients under the care of the oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
You will have both Dental and Medical qualifications, registered with both the Dental Council New Zealand and Medical Council New Zealand. This is a unique opportunity to gain twelve months experience working within a RACDS accredited training centre in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
About this Opportunity:- You will rotate between Auckland, Greenlane and Middlemore Hospitals to gain a comprehensive understanding of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- Involved in routine clinics, dental-alveolar surgery, exodontia, and after-hours on-call to develop your clinical skills.
- We encourage you to research and publish in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to manage inpatients under the care of the oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
- To participate in the development of new procedures and protocols in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
- To contribute to the education and training of junior staff members.
- Dental and Medical qualifications.
- Registration with both the Dental Council New Zealand and Medical Council New Zealand.
- Consideration for applying for RACDS training in OMS.
