Job Description: We are recruiting for a talented Dual Qualified Non-Training Registrar to join our team at Waitemata District Health Board. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified dentist and medical professional to work alongside senior clinicians and trainee registrars in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

About the Role: As a Dual Qualified Non-Training Registrar, you will be responsible for managing inpatients under the care of oral and maxillofacial surgeons. You will also have the opportunity to rotate between Auckland, Greenlane, and Middlemore Hospitals, gaining valuable experience in different clinical settings.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have both Dental and Medical qualifications. You must also be registered with the Dental Council New Zealand and Medical Council New Zealand. Additionally, you should be considering applying for RACDS training in OMS.

What We Offer: We offer a 12-month position that provides you with the opportunity to work alongside senior clinicians and trainee registrars. You will also have access to routine clinics, dental-alveolar surgery, exodontia, and after-hours on-call opportunities. Our team encourages research and publication, and we provide support in lead-up to selection for training.

You will also need to provide post-graduate qualifications and current ACLS - NZRC Core Advanced (Level 7 or equivalent) certification.
