About the Job:

The Auckland Council is looking for an Organisational Change Lead - Communications to join their HRIS & Payroll transformation project. As Programme Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the communication strategy for this complex transformation initiative.

You will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy for the project. This includes creating targeted communication plans for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and impactful messaging.

As an expert advisor to leadership on communication matters, you will provide strategic guidance on all aspects of project communications. Your role also involves developing internal communication materials, maintaining relationships with centralised communications teams, and tracking the effectiveness of communication strategies.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in managing communications for large-scale transformations.
