Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Whaikaha Unit at Hillmorton Hospital. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs and contributing to the development of our ID service as a centre of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses to inform treatment plans
* Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support patients in achieving their goals
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and achieve optimal patient outcomes
* Contribute to the development and implementation of new models of care and best practice initiatives

Requirements:
* Registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists Board
* Recent experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and in mental health or forensic settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
* Competency with te reo Māori, tikanga, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, or a willingness to learn and develop this knowledge
